Pay Range: $18.67 - $19.50 per hour (depends on experience)

The Host / Hostess is responsible for greeting residents and visitors, with a warm and welcoming attitude. You will assist with seating arrangements, manage reservations and help ensure smooth and efficient service. You may handle telephone calls and guest inquiries about the restaurant and menu. All responsibilities must be completed in accordance with Company policies and procedures, current standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat residents and guests in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Monitor seating flow, dining room services and food availability on an ongoing basis to ensure prompt and courteous dining service.
  • Manage reservations.
  • Handle all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.
  • Performs and assists with pouring/providing beverages and other service and bussing functions as necessary.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assist with various restaurant staff when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Demonstrate ability to build and maintain positive working relationships at all levels across the Company.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; highly motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively depending upon circumstances.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Must pass a Criminal Background check.
  • May require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
